QINIQ’s new voice and data service offers our customers a number of unique and valuable benefits. And you can depend on the same local QINIQ support delivered by your Community Service Provider (CSP).

Getting set up with our mobile service is fast and easy, with no need to wait for product delivery from the south. Phones and SIM cards are available from your local CSP, and activation is immediate. If you wish, you can connect your own device to our network. There are no long-term contracts – just renew your subscription month-to-month as you need it. Monitor and manage your usage by logging in to our user friendly customer portal.

With SSi Mobile, all of Nunavut is treated as one community and all calls are “local”. This means no more long distance calling charges when phoning family, friends or business anywhere in Nunavut.

Community Service Provider

A Community Service Provider (CSP) is a local resident or business that signs up accounts, takes payments and provides basic technical support to clients in their community. SSi Mobile is now available in Nunavut communities. If mobile service is currently not available, it is coming soon.

SSi Mobile customers can take their phone with them and connect across town or anywhere within the Nunavut coverage area. This will soon include all 25 communities as the SSi Mobile service becomes available across the territory. As long as you are within range of a signal from one of our towers, your phone will connect in any community where SSi Mobile is activated.

With SSi Mobile, there are no roaming charges when traveling in Canada. Your mobile plan's local calling minutes apply to any calls made within Nunavut and your Canada-wide calling minutes apply to long distance calls made from Nunavut and to all calls made from any Canadian location outside of Nunavut.
