QINIQ Holiday Plan

If you won't be using your QINIQ broadband account for a while, but would like to maintain your email address, then the QINIQ Holiday Plan is right for you. Customers who subscribe to the QINIQ Holiday Plan can check their email but will not be able to access the Internet. Features of the Holiday Plan include:

  • Save money with discounted rates
  • Maintain your e-mail address
  • Check your email
  • Prevent unauthorized usage of your account while you are away
  • Simple to activate. Save money the next time you go on vacation by switching to the QINIQ Holiday Plan.

It’s simple; just activate the Holiday Plan before you leave. Your account is automatically frozen (no Internet) but you can still access your email. The Holiday plan means that you will no longer need to return your modem or close your account when leaving the community for a holiday. From this point forward you have the option of downgrading your plan, at any time during your billing cycle, and paying a reduced month fee. Your modem will be disabled, but your email will remain active while you are away.

If you would like to take advantage of this feature, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log into your QINIQ Community Portal (www.qiniq.com) with your username and password.
  2. Select the drop down menu, which is displayed next to your username.
  3. Choose “Change Plan”, and then select one of the following Holiday Plans;
Qanniq Holiday: $20.00+GST/Month
Masak Holiday: $20.00+GST/Month
*Not available on the Piqsiq plan

The system will automatically prorate your month fee. There is no limit on when, or how many times per month you can use this feature, so feel free to give it a try the next time you’re sneaking away for a few days!
