QINIQ 12 Days of Christmas - Customer Appreciation Giveaway! OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: The QINIQ 12 Days of Christmas Customer Appreciation Giveaway (the “Contest”) is sponsored by QINIQ & SSi Micro Ltd. (“QINIQ”). The Contest Period starts at 8:30AM on December 1st, 2009 and closes at 12:00 PM on December 12th, 2009 (the “Contest Closing Date”). Eastern Time.

2. ELIGIBILITY: Residents of Canada who are existing “QINIQ customers” in good standing throughout the duration of the Contest. Employees of QINIQ and of its parent and affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents (CSPs), contest suppliers and judges are ineligible to enter. Certain prizes may require the winner to be 19 years of age or older or have signed permission of a parent or legal guardian to accept the prize. Please note: you must be a QINIQ customer and must use your QINIQ email address to participate. If you have forgotten your email address please contact your Community Service Provider (CSP). 

3. HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST: Limit one (1) Entry per QINIQ account per day. Additional entries within that day will not be accepted.

Step 1: Visit www.qiniq.com. On the right hand side of the page, you will need to login with your username and password. The first time you login you will be prompted to update your contact information, to assist us in validating your entry. You will only need to complete this information once.

Step 2: Visit qiniq.com every day and login to submit a new entry into the contest. Don’t forget that you can only enter once per day per valid QINIQ account. The number of times you have entered will increase your odds of winning.

Winners will be announced within five (5) days of the closing date of this contest. QINIQ will contact you via email to let you know you have won a prize. Winner’s names will also be published at qiniq.com for the duration of two weeks. Prizes will be sent to the QINIQ Community Service Provider (CSP) in your community. The CSP will notify you when your prize has arrived. You will need to sign a form stating you have received your prize. Please note that photo Identification might be required when you pick up your prize.

Only account holders may collect the prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries and the number of QINIQ Customers who enter to win. 

4. PRIZES: A total of 216 prizes are available to be won, in the QINIQ 12 Days of Christmas Customer Appreciation Giveaway! Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from all entries received by the Contest Closing Date. In all cases, QINIQ shall have no obligation to award any prize which will not have been awarded through the contest or claimed by potential winner and will not be required to award more prizes than the number of prizes described in these rules. The Prizes to be awarded are as follows:

Grand Prize One (1) trip for two via First Air*

Second Prize Two (2) chances to win one (1) XBOX 360 Holiday bundle

Third Prize Two (2) chances to win one (1) Digital camera

Fourth Prize Two (2) chances to win one (1) GPS “spot” tracking device

Mystery Prizes: Over two hundred (200) chances to win a Mystery QINIQ prize.

All prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution and are not transferable, not for resale or convertible to cash. QINIQ reserves the right in the event that a Prize or any component of Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute a similar Prize or component of equal or greater value without liability.

5. HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE: Each selected winner of a prize for the QINIQ twelve days of Christmas customer appreciation Giveaway, will be sent by email a confirmation that they have won a prize. Winners will also be posted at qiniq.com for the duration of the contest and one week thereafter. Winners will be announced no later than five (5) days from the closing date of the contest. Prizes will be mailed to the QINIQ Community Service Provider (CSP) in your community. They will contact you when your prize arrives. You will need to sign a release slip stating you have received your prize before you can claim it.

6. GENERAL:
• By entering this contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, community and/or any photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by QINIQ, without further notice or compensation. By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless the QINIQ, SSi Micro Ltd, their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releases”) from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the prize. By accepting a prize, winner’s consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, photographs or other likenesses for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.

• The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

• No communications will be entered into except with selected entrants. To receive a copy of the list of the winners visit: www.qiniq.com within two weeks of the contest closing date.

• Sponsor is collecting personal data about entrants for the purpose of administering this Contest. We respect your privacy and this information will never be shared, distributed or otherwise used. Visit qiniq.com for more details on our privacy regulations.

• This contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Sponsor. Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the Contest.

• QINIQ assumes no responsibility for failure of the Internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from entering this contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

• If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the QINIQ account associated with the entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the QINIQ account associated with the entry will be considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof of being the authorized account holder of the QINIQ account associated with the selected entry.

7. Grand Prize: Grand Prize Round Trip for two via First Air

*Rules & Restrictions: Flight will be to a major hub on a hub on route to this destination (Iqaluit or Ottawa or/ Yellowknife or Edmonton) please see the chart for your main flight option.

2. Must be used between January 15th - April 1st 2010
3. Booking is subject to seat availability.
4. Certain black out restrictions apply.
5. This prize must be accepted as awarded without substitution and are not transferable, not for resale or convertible to cash
6. Any one under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
7. Sanikiluaq flights will not be via First Air - the hub will be Montreal Community
